What We Believe
We envision a church that meets joyfully to worship our Heavenly Father in the unity of spirit. As God’s people we come together to embrace Christian love, to nurture our faith, and become loving servants of our Lord.
We Are a Christian People
We join with all true believers, proclaiming the Lordship of Jesus Christ and in affirming the historic Trinitarian creeds and beliefs of the Christian faith.
We believe our Wesleyan-Holiness heritage to be a way of faith that is true to Scripture, reason, tradition, & experience.
We Are a Holiness People
We believe that the Holy Spirit seeks to do in us a second work of grace, cleansing us from all sin, renewing us in the image of God.
Empowering us to love God with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength, and our neighbors as ourselves, and producing in us the character of Christ.
We Are a Missional People
We are a sent people, responding to the call of Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit to go into all the world, witnessing to the Lordship of Christ and participating with God in the building of the Church and the extension of His kingdom
(Matthew 28:19-20; 2 Corinthians 6:1).
Who We Are
Our pastor leads through servant leadership. The Church Manual says, “The minister of Christ is to be in all things a pattern to the flock—in punctuality, discretion, diligence, earnestness; "in purity, understanding, patience and kindness; in the Holy Spirit and in sincere love; in truthful speech and in the power of God; with weapons of righteousness in the right hand and in the left" (2 Corinthians 6:6-7)” (Nazarene Manual 2013-2015). As the shepherd gives of himself for the health and betterment of his sheep, our pastor seeks to give of himself for the spiritual health and growth of the Lord's church.
